Kochi: Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, today launched Broadband Express, a new initiative to promote its high-speed wired broadband service across the country.
All new subscribers of the Rs.899 and above plan will receive a free Wi-Fi router. The Rs. 899 and above offer is valid through December 31, 2014. Tata Docomo Broadband offers plans with download speeds ranging from 1 Mbps to 100 Mbps with attractive data bundles for customers to choose from.
Announcing the launch, Himanshu Khanna, Head Marketing, Enterprise Business, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “We understand the importance of high speed connectivity which coupled with smart and seamless interplay between devices and content enables ‘Connected Lifestyles’. With the new ‘Broadband Express campaign’ we would like to enable customers to experience Broadband ‘Like Never Before’. Tata Docomo provides high-speed broadband, resilient networks and simplified interplay between content and access.”
The speed with which consumers are adopting and adapting to Web based services is increasing at an exponential rate, and the home remains at the heart of this evolution. India is currently witnessing a form of communications ‘half life’, where the time required for each new platform or application to be widely adopted is half that of its predecessor. Not only is the adoption cycle becoming successively shorter, the type of content being exchanged is becoming richer; the implications for bandwidth requirements and quality of service are profound.
Superior Broadband experience is ‘mission critical’ for today’s households. Tata DOCOMO’s future proofed infrastructure delivers the required high speed, reliable and scalable broadband connectivity to Indian households.
Tata Teleservices Limited is one of India’s leading private telecom service providers, having a pan-India presence across all of India’s 19 telecom Circles. The company offers integrated telecom solutions to its customers under the unified brand name Tata DOCOMO and operates its wireless networks on GSM, CDMA and 3G technology platforms.
